Anonymised outcomes, published as they are consented to.
Sector, loss type, what the insurer disputed, what changed it, and how long it took. No names and no success rates.
The desk/Outcomes
This page is empty on purpose
Every case study here will be a real claim, published with the written consent of the business it belonged to. We started collecting that consent in September 2026, so the page fills up from the claims running now, at the speed those claims finish.
An outcomes page invented ahead of the outcomes is exactly the kind of thing this desk exists to be the opposite of.
What each entry will carry
- The sector and the size of business, not the name.
- The loss: what happened, and when it was intimated.
- What the insurer disputed, quoted from the position they took.
- What changed it: the document, the argument, the escalation.
- How long it took from intimation to settlement.
- What the business would do differently, which is usually about the sum insured.
Never on this pageA success rate, a settlement figure held out as typical, or a claim ratio. Every claim turns on its own wording and its own facts, and a number quoted out of that context tells a reader nothing true.
Where the figures areClaims that were decided in public do carry figures, because a court or a stock exchange published them. They are on the public record page, they belong to other people, and every one of them is linked to whoever reported it.
Your claim could be one of these. Start with what happened.
Whoever placed your policy, and whatever stage the claim has reached.
