Not advice
Nothing on this site is legal advice, and nothing on it is advice about your particular claim. Insurance claims turn on the exact wording of the policy and the facts of the loss. Read your own wording, and ask somebody to look at it with you.
No outcome is promised
Nothing here should be read as a prediction or a guarantee about whether a claim will be paid, or for how much.
No figures
We publish no premiums, rates, tariffs or claim settlement figures, including as ranges or examples. None of them can be stated responsibly without the specific policy and the specific loss in front of you, and a number quoted out of that context does more harm than good.
Deadlines mentioned on this site
Where we mention a time limit we point you at your own policy or the relevant authority rather than stating a universal figure, because these genuinely differ between policies, insurers and routes. Confirm yours before relying on it.
